The future of Rye Playland, the historic amusement park in Westchester County, is uncertain as a dispute between the county and Standard Amusements intensifies. Standard, which has operated the park for two seasons, is seeking to terminate its 30-year privatization deal, citing missed construction deadlines and unmet obligations by the county.
