Man allegedly stabbed multiple times while trying to defend woman in Sydney

 A man was allegedly stabbed in the chest after he attempted to defend a woman being assaulted in a car in Sydney's south-west early this morning. The 44-year-old man was found stabbed in the chest at Macquarie Street in Liverpool about 2.20am.
